The former manor is remembered among the locals for its last owners, the Kutin family of merchants and landowners, from which no less than two mayors of Postojna are descended.
The first owners of the manor were the nobles Nicoletti, managers of the Lipica stud farm, whose branch was also the nearby castle estate Prestranek. In the middle of the 18th century, horses were moved there from the stud farm of the former castle outbuilding under Sovič.
