Locals still call the building Jadran, which is the name of the cafe that was in it before the restaurant.
Some people remember the building as Garzarolli’s house – after the owner, who had an inn in it until the last days of the Second World War, when it was bombed and burned. Folk tradition says that the semicircular stone portal of the main entrance, which now bears the year 1793, was brought from the Church of St. Ursula, which once stood on Sovič.
Tip: in the shelter of the terrace, you can watch the events on Titov trg, which is at its liveliest in the evening hours.
