The mighty square house, where Lojz Kraigher (1877–1959), writer, playwright, doctor, and dentist, was born.
Kraigher was a contemporary of Slovenian modernism and a close friend of our greatest writer Ivan Cankar, and he is also considered the father of the Slovenian medical faculty. A little further along the city route, in the Postojna Cultural Centre, Kraigher’s memorial room is on display, where you can learn more about his versatile work.
Visit the memorial room and see what the workspace of an intellectual from the first half of the 20th century looked like. To see the memorial room of Dr. Lojz Kraigher, ask at the Notranjska museum Postojna.
