The Veliki Javornik cycling trail will lead you to the most famous peak of the Javorniki Hills – Veliki Javornik (1268 m).
From there, it will descend to the former ski centre Kalič. Specialists in downhill cycling can get an adrenaline rush on the steep forest trail, which is extremely steep in one part, and flat at the top of the hills.
Along the way, you can admire the different types of forest and enjoy the wonderful views. If you’re lucky, you might spot some of the resident wildlife (deer, stags, wild boars, bears).
