Planinska gora is located on the eastern edge of Hrušica with the starting point in Planina (near the Church of St. Margaret).
A walk to the mountain runs along the cart track across the meadows and the forest and along the idyllic panoramic stone road with numerous pilgrimage marks. Along the way is the Church of St. Mary, which was built in 1657. To the west of the church, a road leads to the top of the mountain, which is marked by a stone table.
In the months when the forest is not yet green, the view from the top extends to Javorniki, Slivnica and the entire Planina Field. The hike to the mountain takes about 1 hour or depending on your speed.
Part of the Alpine wall fortification system, which was built by the Italians after World War I to secure the newly created Rapallo border, passes through Planinska gora. Many bunkers and caverns from that time have been preserved on Planinska gora.
