Human Fish Gravel is a cycling festival for all adventurous macadam and gravel cyclists, which took place on 10 September 2022 (always the second weekend in September) on one of the most beautiful gravel paths in the Slovenian karst.
On this day, cyclists will embark on a challenging 270km (Red Route), 128km (Green Route) or 67km (Blue Route) of long, winding routes with first-class gravel roads in a beautiful natural environment. The route leads past a series of sights, with a start and finish at Camp Plana.
The surface will also be varied: from smoothed macadam below Snežnik to meadow ruts above Ilirska Bistrica and below Slavnik, as well as some more robust karst macadam.
According to HF Gravel, it is one of the best areas in the Balkans for gravel bikers, where trails coexist with first-class natural sights. Pre-registration required.
